![]() My only real complaint gameplay-wise was what seemed like an extremely nasty difficulty curve at a couple of points, resulting in plenty of grinding time for me, but that was probably my own fault for almost completely ignoring the Guild system. Not so much in terms of "it didn't last long enough" as in terms of "the story and characters felt like they could have been taken further" as though it ended a little too soon.īut while it lasted, the game was great, the battle system was genuinely enjoyable (downright fantastic for a 3D battle system on the DS, if you ask me), and between the highly unique opening theme and one of the very few non-Sakuraba soundtracks in a Tales game, it had a nice, fresh atmosphere to it. I enjoyed Innocence a lot when I played it my only complaint was that it seemed a little short. ![]() Hearts is definitely the superior game (well, in my opinion at least), but there's definitely a lot to like about Innocence, and they're two very different Tales games, so both are definitely worth everyone's time. ![]()
